Highly recommend Buywise to do pre-purchase building and pest inspection. Overall, we had 4 inspections booked with the team and each time they delivered a thorough report and were very responsive to questions. The team is very good at what they do and the information in their report helped us avoid going to auction for a place where they found previous termite presence and damages in the subfloor. Thanks to Celine, Phil, Peter, Daniel and the team for helping our buying journey. We have now bought a place after an inspection by Buywise gave us the information to feel confident about the purchase. Will definitely use Buywise again for future purchases.

Phil was incredible for my inspection at BuyWise. Price wasn’t cheap, especially since I was inspecting just a unit and I didn’t win the auction but gave him a go because I had family who had a great experience with their BuyWise inspection, also with Phil.Process was simple from start to finish - request a quote online, pay a deposit, BuyWise organises a date/time with the real estate agent, you are notified of the date/time, you pay deposit to confirm inspection, inspection happens, inspector calls you that evening to give you an overview of inspection results, you pay full amount, Buy Wise emails you the report.I had a shorter timeline due to an auction which made me anxious but Buy Wise got the inspection done in time and even got the vendor to fix a major plumbing issue prior to auction day.I wasn’t at the inspection myself as I couldn’t make it which made me uneasy but Phil was so thorough on the phone after the inspection that I actually think it was fine. I also gave Phil another call after I read through the official report and again, Phil was detailed, patient and super helpful.I would definitely recommend BuyWise.

I was fortunate enough to have Philip Guildea from Buy Wise complete a building inspecting report for a property I was considering purchasing. My advocate had organised Philip on my behalf as her company frequently engages him, and I understand why. Philip was able to quickly schedule in an inspection which was very time dependent. He was extremely thorough, and filled me in immediately via phone the results of the inspection, so I could make an informed decision on how to proceed. He was very detailed in his findings, explaining based on his expertise, expectations and realities of the results of the report. The report was easy to understand. I was able to follow up with Philip after I read the report for more clarity on a few things that I wasn’t sure I understood, and he was extremely helpful in detailing it further. I would definitely recommend Buy Wise if you're planning on doing a building and pest inspection when buying a house. Their report was thorough and detailed but easy to understand, and they really checked everything out as much as possible - despite there being no access to the building stumps/subfloor, they were still able to provide images of the underfloor area and give a helpful assessment of the condition. No stone was left unturned, and the report gave clear recommendations as to how to proceed, pointing out potential issues/major defects, but also providing guidance on future maintenance and preventative measures that could be taken if we proceeded to purchase.We were very pleased with the level of care and service provided.

BuyWise go above and beyond for clients.Phil carried out an a home and pool inspection for client who were buying a heritage home. The 90 page report was comprehensive and when the client asked me what they should tackle first I lled Phil and we went through the report and prioritised the five biggest jobs (a good 4 months after the original inspection).For a property of one hundred plus years old, there were no significant tasks, lots of TLC and cosmetics.We then had to call Phil rather urgently as we were told by the carpet installer that the property had "termites" (this time a good 7 months past the original inspection date). Phil arrived within 3 hours of my call, only to confirm the "termites" were actually dust and wood shavings.Superb service and happy to have Buywise on speed dial.
